Sally is a qualified nurse and worked as a health visitor for several years.

 

To consolidate her interest in nutrition she completed a 3 year diploma course at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London (I.O.N.)

 

She now practices as a nutritional therapist near Chandlers Ford and in Stubbington in Hampshire, seeing a wide range of problems.

In 2007 she set up a new specialist children's clinic @ ION in Richmond which she ran for a year and now oversees it as it is run monthly by a colleague.

 

Sally runs a nutrition group for weight control in Hampshire has a special interest in children’s health.

 

She also lectures on babies and children  to nutrition students on various courses in London,  gives talks to voluntary and charity organisations and has written for various journals and newsletters.

She leads workshops in schools, colleges and the workplace on healthy eating in line with the latest government initiatives

 

  • In 2002 her first book called  ‘An A-Z of Children’s Health, a nutritional approach’ was published by Argyll.
  • She is co-author of ‘The Art of Hiding Vegetables’ published by White Ladder Press in August 2005. This book is being updated, enlarged and re-published by Crimson later in 2009 
  • A third book called Dealing with Difficult Eaters about problem eaters has just been published in May 2009

 

Sally is a Fellow of the Institute of Optimum Nutrition and as well as lecturing there, she is on their panel of scientific expert advisors.

She is a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and follows their code of ethics.
